Late Cancellation and

Non-Attendance Policy

It is my aim to support your attendance by sending appointment reminders via text and email in the days leading up to your session.

If you’re unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please notify me as early as possible. I usually maintain a full schedule and often have a wait-list of clients seeking care.

When appointments are cancelled with short notice or missed entirely, I’m unable to offer the time to someone else — this impacts access to my service and contributes to avoidable delays for others.

To ensure the fair and effective use of time and resources, Heal and Thrive clinic has a cancellation and non-attendance policy.

Non-Attendance

If you have not joined the session or contacted me within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, and I have not been able to reach you, the appointment will be considered a “non-attendance,” and the applicable fee will be charged.

If you are running late or experiencing technical difficulties, please get in touch as soon as possible so I can support you.

Late Cancellations

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice or missed without notification will incur the full session fee, which will be invoiced to you and/or your funding scheme body (i.e. NDIS or WorkSafe Victoria).

I do, however, recognise that unexpected events such as illness or emergencies can occur, and I may waive this fee at my discretion in these circumstances.

Thank you for your understanding.
